So... I am heading to bed. I have been working on a Halloween kit. I know, it is Spring and I 'should' be working on a Spring or Summer kit. But I just came across some photos of my son at the pumpkin patch. My philosophy is to only create and design when I am inspired. This picture inspired me.

New Mom's Flowers Freebie & Kit Released!

Hi everyone,

I was burning the midnight oil last night working on getting the Mom's Flowers release out. I am really pleased with this kit and I love the stitched leather alpha. I hope you all enjoy it too. Now, I am working on a couple small packs of embellishments to coordinate with the current kits and paper packs on the site.

When I opened ScrapKitchen, I originally wanted to just design paper packs as I know that there are plenty of embellishments included with all the other kits we buy. But, I realized there is a need for some embellishments that coordinate with the packs. So, going forward, I am going to be offering small kits that have mostly background papers and a couple coordinating embellishments. This will allow me to keep the prices low since I don't have to spend a ton of time designing embellishments. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this subject.

Do you all prefer to buy full size kits, paper packs, small kits, and/or embellishment packs? Let me know what you think.

Scribbles National Scrapbooking Day Cyber Celebration

Hi everyone,

Just popping in to say hello. I had a busy morning with my son....but he is down for his nap now and I am working on a few ScrapKitchen projects. Mom's Flowers Kit is almost completed. I am really excited for this kit. It is going to include some cool patterned papers and a leather alpha.

Also, I am pleased to say that ScrapKitchen is sponsoring the Scribbles National Scrapbooking Day Cyber Celebration on May 7th. I hope some of you are able to participate. They will be awarding prizes to a few lucky participants. Check out their forum for more details.

Well, going to run to Target with my son (when he wakes) to buy him an Elmo doll. He had a doctor's appointment this morning and had to have blood drawn. I am feeling sad for him, so I am hoping Elmo makes it all better.

Welcome, New Site Design & New Kit !

Hi Everyone,

First, let me say thank you for visiting my blog. The past couple of weeks have been very exciting for me. I have spent a lot of time setting up my website and designing all my products. I have not enjoyed myself this much in a very long time.

I spent the entire day today redesigning the website. Its hard sometimes to focus on the look and feel of the website. I love designing all the kits, paper packs and elements and it takes up the bulk of my time. But I decided today the website needed a little sprucing up. I hope you all like it. There are going to be a few more changes to the website....but for now, this should do.

Friday, I will be releasing the Mom's Flowers Freebie. I am very excited about this kit. It is inspired by my mother and my mother-in-law. Both are strong intelligent women who are very dear to me.

Monday or Tuesday, I will be releasing the full Mom's Flowers Kit. I just have a few more finishing touches to put on the kit and it will be ready to go.

Well, gotta wrap things up for the night. I have a hubby that needs a little TLC. Thanks for reading. I look forward to your comments.
